Today (May 8th, 2010) is Mormon Helping Hands Day. Throughout the state of California 75000 volunteers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints spent the day cleaning up parks to give back to our communities. I was in charge of the effort in the cities of Fremont and Newark. I had a lot (did I say a lot) – a whole lot of help. And here are some pictures from the city of Newark to prove it:
