11/18/2021 I've started on this model of the Alfa Romeo Spider Touring Gran Sport by Pocher. It's been in a big box on my shelf for a few years now and I wanted to build something that did'n have guns. From what I've read about Pocher kits "If you are fitting two parts togther and they fit nicely – then you are doing it wrong". I can attest that this comment is the truth. I purchased a very nice DVD with 1000's of build pictures and suggestion on how to avoid problems in the build. I also purchased aftermarket

ignition wiring
black hose material
distributer wire nipple ends
On to the pictures:
Here I had to repair a crankshaft connecting rood with a piece of brass rod.
Here I had to fabricate a part that was missing with white plastic sheeting. 
Some parts were molded with cracks in them. 
I moved the engine back 10mm for a better fit.
I added a wood veneer to the dash.
