5/6/2023 I've just finished this model of a space shuttlecraft by Convair. This model kit was first issued in 1958 by Revell. The kit I purchased on Ebay had very poor decals, so I just left them off. I think it looks better withour them anyway. The fit of the parts is crude, about what you would expect from a kit of this age. Following are images of the box and description included with the instructions as well as construction photographs. I painted it with Tamiya grey surface primer, then Tamiya X-14 sky blue. This was followed with Alclad chrome, then Alclad blue and finally Tamiya X-11 chrome silver.

1/16 Sherman M4A3E8
3/5/2023 This is my completed model of the WWII Sherman M4A3E8 tank produced by Andy's Hobbies. I've been wanting to build a 1/16 sherman for a long time and this model is fantastic, and the price is very attractive. The model itself is great – well molded, no flash and really went together without any problems. There are a lot of parts that make up the tracks, and each part needs to be carefully cleaned up from the sprue attachments. I use Tamiya's cutting plyers which are very nice for cutting parts off of sprues, but there always seems to be a little claenup required. I used Tamiya "Weathering Master" sets to add some weathering. External stowage was supplied by ValueGear and are very nice resin castings. They lend a lot to the realism. On to the photos….
Here is a video of the completed model -> HERE.
